In late 1998, myself and three other cartoonists formed our own publishing company called Red Menace Comics. Our first project was Kansas Thunder, a compilation of all our work with four eight page short stories by each of us. Our ambition being greater than our meager resources, we ceased publication by Issue 4.
My contribution was a serialized horror story inspired by movies such as The Exorcist and the Hammer Dracula series and comics such as Tomb of Dracula, Swamp Thing and Tales from the Crypt. Called The Fetid People, I unfortunately never got to finish the story due to our comic's untimely demise.
I designed this t-shirt give away for an executive and client weekend retreat in the Hamptons. I hear it was well received by those who can remember said weekend.
The client wanted a logo that "looked like a paperweight". He also needed something that would translate from print to the web easily.
